When you’re in love you never really know whether your elation comes from the qualities of the one you love, or if it attributes them to her; whether the light which surrounds her like a halo comes from you, from her, or from the meeting of your sparks. ~Natalie Clifford Barney
I got the call about this Wednesday wedding on the Sunday before it happened… I knew right away that these were my kinda people. If you know me, then you know I’m a “on a whim” kinda girl. It was going to be a very small wedding with only his family and a couple friends on the beach. Emerald and I chatted about wedding things like old friends and it was set. I got to the beach house and all the guys were in the living room like nothing was going on. The girls had turned a room into a blizzard of dresses and makeup and shoes and everything else you need on you wedding day. But they were having fun, the love in the room between these friends set the tone for the rest of the day.
Austin and Emerald walked each other down the isle and exchanged vows they had written. Emerald vowed to love him forever and always eat crackers in bed, much to Austin’s dismay. He swore to make her laugh everyday and give her the life she deserved. Everyone laughed and cried. They kissed and rice crispys were thrown. Yes!! RICE CRISPYS… LOL Then came my favorite part. They let me play… Photographers don’t often get clients that let them just play. So with the little light we had left I got wet and sandy with the newly weds. I hope that they had as much fun as I did. Wish them all the love and happy they can handle. ❤
