Brian contacted me about wanting to propose to his girlfriend of 4 years. He had been holding onto this ring since March. They were going to be in town for the holiday week and it would be unsuspected. They visited last year and this area just became such a special place, perfect for this next step. Huntington State Park has amazing beaches and stunning sunsets.
We decided to put flowers (red carnations are her favorite) as a marker for Brian, and I hid in the sand dunes. ( I even had to chase a park rangers from taking the flowers) I bet that was a funny sight for the other beach goers.
He texted saying they were on the beach and the rest as they say is history.
She said YES!!!!!
Just a few weeks until this fun couple says “I DO” and I am so excited. Michelle and Alex love downtown Wilmington, so it made the perfect backdrop for their engagement pictures. We had coffee and danced in the historic streets. (See I told you they were fun!)
We even made it to Fort Fisher for the sunset! What a amazing place. Alex proposed to Michelle there, so it is even more special to them.

Proposals are some of my favorite moments to be a part of, it’s like a surprise party but with a diamond ring and way more happy tears. I was contacted by Brianna’s mom that Kyle was going to pop the question while they were on vacation, and could I help make it perfect. Ummmmm, heck yeah I can!!!! Casey at 21 Main Events, worked her magic and put everything in place.
The plan was, the family was meeting at 21 Main for dinner but the reservations were at a different time. So what to do with 30 minutes to kill on a beautiful resort? You go to the beach of course!! Wink Wink. Little did Brianna know that she was playing right into our plans. 🙂 Kelly with Little Shop of Flowers made a stunning bouquet for our soon to be engaged couple. Once we got them to the beach, the rest was up to Kyle. While I was to far away to hear what he said. It must have been perfect, because she said “YES!!” I wish you both all of the happy and love in the world.

Loved meeting this growing family a few weeks ago. They are expecting a little boy soon, to add to their already adorable family. His big sisters are already so in love with him and all about mommy’s belly. And I’m sure dad is excited to add a little more blue to the house. Can’t wait to meet little man on their next trip to the beach.
